Please share our prize draw far and wide so we can raise as much money for our wonderful pool.

You may have noticed this season we have a new yellow box outside the pool. This is a defibrillator, a piece of lifesaving medical equipment which can be used by the community in an emergency. It is owned by Morecare who decided to place it at the pool in case we or a member of the community should ever need it. All of Chagford Pool’s lifeguards are trained to use the defibrillator and we will be maintaining it.

If someone were to call 999 and a defibrillator was required the ambulance dispatcher would direct that person to the nearest defibrillator and give them the code to unlock it.

Morecare Chagford Association is an amazing voluntary and non-profit organisation. It exists to assist those who are housebound, living alone or needing support like transport to medical appointments or collecting prescriptions.

Please use this link to Morecare’s website to find out more about them or access support for yourself or someone you know

We are very grateful to Morecare, not only for the incredibly important work they do in the community but also for deciding to place their defibrillator outside our pool.
