Friend of the pool?
Chagford Swimming Pool is one of the only swimming pools left in the country that is still run entirely by a group of local volunteers, and even with these volunteers giving their time freely all year round, we still struggle to make ends meets every year. This is due to rising bills and constant maintenance needed at the Pool to meet regulations.

The Friends are the fan club of Chagford Pool. A group of likeminded people who love the pool, and value all that it gives to the local community. By becoming a Friend of the pool you are helping to preserve it and with the great generosity of a membership, contribute financially to many vital running costs of keeping a community pool open for future generations.

To become a Friend of the Pool it costs £24 a year, so only £2 a month. We ask that payments are made in one deposit of £24 via direct debit to the Pool. ​
